Polytechnic Institute of Preah Sihanouk was established by public organized since 2000 and announced to appreciate by the Department of Education, Youth and Sport via 363 អយក.ប្រក, released on 02nd February, 2000. In 2004, Polytechnic Institute of Preah Sihanouk is transferred to the Department of labor and training Vocational in contractual obligation of process management. Due to the quantities of qualities students, 60%-70%, Polytechnic Institute of Preah Sihanouk is the suitable place in donating the knowledge and excellence practical which is got a good reputation by republic. Presently, Polytechnic Institute of Preah Sihanouk have been trained basic technical skill, technical certificate and vocational and high deploma, associate degree. For basic level is divided to service, handicraft and agriculture which trained to all adults who face with the destitute family, jobless, drop out students, especially ethnic. Technical certificate and vocational is the level which presently marketing absolutely needed throughout factories and enterprises, particularly in Cambodia. For new enrolment on this level, student is required to equip with Bac I(Certificate grade 9) , in addition to high diploma, currently marketing is really satisfies to all despite the fact that our country is getting development, advancement and technician resources absolutely important to promote the national economic field. Technical training and vocational is the important strategy section for government to build up our country and to reduce the poverty. Lastly, in the present of Sihanouk Provincial Training Center director, staffs and professors would like to show a warm welcome to all memberships like local organization and other NGOs which is profoundly cooperate and support our technical training and vocational designed for widen the human resources to please the nation's needs.
